We arrived to the Puerto Aéreo Central Mexicano in the morning, It was a short trip but the flight was a few bored. The wather was warm and confortable.We didn't want to waste so much time and we took a taxi to Santa Fe Hotel. We decided to ask for restaurants that offer traditional Mexican food. We turned at The Tarzan restaurant.
Saturday 9th December
Our journey did not end there, we had another destination and place to visit. We go to the ancient ruins, the pyramids of the Mayan city. A place with a lot of history to tell. Our choice was the temple of Kukulkán, a pyramid located in the Archaeological Zone of Chichen Itza that is located on the Yucatan Peninsula. We got a lot of attention because we knew that this place in 2007 was designated as one of the seven new Wonders of the World. Many people, mostly foreigners visit it. A spectacular place without a doubt! We felt a lot of emotion because it was the first time we saw something like that, we started touring the whole place and we were finding very incredible things that have history for Mexico and are very important.
The tour was beautiful, but it was getting late and we decided to return to the hotel but without going to eat some delicious tacos, we also had to buy some souvenirs to take as a gift for our families and the memory of having visited that wonderful place in Mexico and its culture.
